There are simply a couple of pizzas that must not be missing at your pizza party. Margherita is definitely one of them. And which topping combo comes right after in the ranking of the most popular pizzas? Pizza Salami, or Pizza Salame (as it is called in Italian) of course! Exactly that is on the menu today, buddy! Simple yet simply irresistible. Works. Every. Time! And even if there is some left after the party – these things still taste incredibly awesome cold with a hangover.
Topped with classic tomato sauce, mozzarella and in this version, I opted for Italian fennel salami. It's just a tad spicier and gives your Salami Pizza the extra kick. Personally, capers are a must-have for me, of course.
MY TIP:
Of course, you don't have to use fennel salami. Instead, try some thinly sliced Milan salami orwild boar salami.

Preparation in 6 steps
Preheat pizza oven, gas grill, or oven with a pizza stone to maximum heat (450 °C is perfect).
Tear the mozzarella roughly.
Divide dough into equal portions, shape into approximately 1 cm thick pizzas - pressing air from the center towards the edge.
Spread one serving of tomato sauce from the inside out.
Spread dough with Parmesan, mozzarella, salami, and optionally onions. Respect the order. Cheese is always placed under the topping.
Bake pizza in a gas grill (approx. 5 minutes), oven (approx. 8 minutes), or pizza oven (approx. 90 seconds) until the cheese has melted and the crust is brown. If you prepare the pizza in a pizza oven, you should turn it 2-3 times to ensure it browns evenly.
