It's getting cold and uncomfortable outside again. But you're just not ready for a wintry mood yet? I know how you feel! So, fire up the Pizza Oven or the Gas Grill one last time and treat yourself and your guests to a Pizza that couldn't scream summer any louder: Pizza Frutti di Mare. And with everything that fits on top: Calamari Rings, Anchovies, Mussels, and a few Shrimps. Underneath there's a classic Sugo, and – of course – Mozzarella.
Sound good? It gets even better! To add some flavor, you can't go wrong with some Garlic. And when the pizza comes out of the oven or grill all crispy, casually sprinkle a handful of fresh Oregano on top. Mamma Mia, you can't make a more perfect Italian summer pizza!
MY TIP:
Craving a thick and crispy crust? Then, when shaping the dough, just slightly pull the edges inwards. It puffs up beautifully and looks just perfect!

Wash calamari tubes, remove the internal skeleton, and cut into rings about 0.3 cm thick. Thoroughly wash mussels and shrimps. Peel and finely chop the garlic.
Preheat pizza oven, gas grill, or conventional oven with pizza stone to maximum heat. Shape pizza dough with hands to about 1 cm thick and round.
Generously dust the pizza peel with flour and place the pizza crust on it. Spread the dough thinly with tomato sauce from the inside to the outside in circular motions. Roughly tear apart the mozzarella and evenly distribute it on top of the tomato sauce. Top the pizza with garlic, calamari rings, anchovies, shrimp, and mussels.
Bake the pizza on the pizza stone in the pizza oven for 2-3 minutes, in the gas grill for about 5 minutes, or in the oven for approximately 10 minutes until the crust is crispy and the cheese is melted.
Pluck oregano leaves from the branch. Season the pizza with salt and pepper, drizzle with some olive oil, sprinkle with oregano, and serve immediately.
